MEMBERS' BENEFITS
Every member of the International Modern Arnis Federation Philippines is entitled to:
1. Discount on all Seminars/Workshops and Trainings.
2. Special training sessions with IMAFP masters when they visit Switzerland.
3. Discount on all arnis merchandise purchased through IMAFP, such as:
-- Yantok canes and a wide variety of training weapons.
-- Complete set of Arnis uniform.
4. Standard Manuals and Video/DVDs, including the Modern Arnis book by Grandmaster Remy Presas.
5. IMAFP Certification.
6. International Passport Membership Booklet.
7. assistance in traveling to the Philippines for training under the Arnis masters.
WHERE DO IMAFP MEMBERSHIP FEES GO?
All fees collected by IMAFP are used for promoting and developing the art of Modern Arnis. Membership fees will enable IMAFP in various countries to invite Arnis masters from the Philippines to visit and train international IMAFP affiliates and members. More importantly, the memberhip fees help care for the Arnis masters in the Philippine countryside to whom we owe the art and heritage of Modern Arnis. Arnis is a rare art that is endangered by extinction. If we, its followers and practitioners, do not preserve this art through documentation and continuous practice, many techniques and classical styles will be lost to future generations. Many of these styles are yet to be discovered in the Philippines. IMAFP seeks to do this through research, documention of the styles of both living and deceased masters, and caring for the masters who are still alive. To take care of our masters is our humble expression of gratitude for a lifetime they have dedicated to the Filipino Martial Arts. IMAFP membership fees will make all these possible.
