Guro Dayang Edessa Ramos is voted Woman of the Year by FMA Digest.

FMA Digest Publisher Steven Dowd presented Edessa Ramos with her award as the FMA Digest Woman of the Year for 2005.

On or about the 17th of August each year, the FMA Digest launches a nomination procedure for its readers to select a Man, Woman and School of the Year. The nomination is open to persons trained, or training in the Filipino Martial Arts.
